This Christmas, Tamro is supporting the care for children and youth in Finland by making a €10,000 Christmas donation to the Association of Friends of the University Children's Hospitals.

The Association of Friends of the University Children’s hospitals (known as Kummit) is a charitable organization, founded in 1993, which supports the five Finnish university children’s hospitals, development and research, and attempts to improve the comfort of patients during their hospital stay. Over recent years, the association has also placed significant attention on the mental health work of children and adolescents.

"Supporting children's health is a shared cause. The Association of Friends of the University Children’s hospitals warmly thank Tamro for their impactful Christmas donation for the well-being of children and youth," says Matti Valli from the Association of Friends of the University Children’s hospitals.

Promoting the health and well-being of children and youth has been a topic that Tamro has wanted to support through its donations for several years.

"The activities of the Association of Friends of the University Children’s hospitals align perfectly with our goals of social responsibility.  We are pleased to have the opportunity to support this work," says Katja Toivonen, Quality and Corporate Responsibility Manager at Tamro.
