Pharmacist Heidi Tahvanainen begins as Tamro’s Public Affairs Manager as of 1 August 2020. She joins Tamro from the position of Director of the Unit for Steering of the Department for Steering of Healthcare and Social Welfare at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.
The position of Public Affairs Manager is new at Tamro. In her position, Tahvanainen is responsible for the strategic planning, overall coordination and management of public affairs work. The position is related to Tamro’s strategic growth to become a comprehensive provider of healthcare services and a centre of excellence for PHOENIX Group.
Heidi Tahvanainen has extensive experience in various sectors of the pharmaceutical industry. As a Director at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, she has worked on the health and social services reform and helped promote public decision-making and discussion.
