Anni Svala elected as President of EIPG

The European Industrial Pharmacists Group (EIPG) elected a new Bureau members at its General Assembly in Madrid this May. Mrs. Anni Svala, Quality Director at Tamro has been elected President of EIPG for a three-year term.

A passionate, forward-thinking, and results-oriented Industrial Pharmacist (M.Sc. Pharm.), she is widely recognized as a dedicated and impact-driven quality executive with a strong track record in quality leadership, regulatory affairs, and influencing.

Svala has been actively involved in EIPG since 2009, when she began as Finland’s country delegate. In 2014, she was elected Vice President for Education and Careers, and since 2023, she has served as Vice President for European Affairs. Her long-standing dedication to the organisation reflects a deep understanding of EIPG’s mission and a strong commitment to advance  the role of industrial pharmacy and pharmacists across Europe.

In her professional role, Svala serves as a member of the Executive Board, Quality Director, and Responsible Pharmacist at Tamro Corporation in Finland. Her leadership combines strategic foresight with a focus on operational excellence. She is known for her proactive and positive leadership style, as well as her dedication to mentoring and supporting young professionals.
