Tamro’s Product Group Managers step in when manufacturers of over-the-counter medicines, self-care products, or medical devices need representation or marketing support in Finland. Each member of the four-person team is responsible for specific product categories, such as oral care, eye care, skin and hair care, and wound care.
Their work includes managing customer relationships, marketing, campaign planning, sales data analysis, product availability coordination, and collaboration with authorities. The team actively monitors and evaluates current and future consumer needs and seeks new, high-quality products to add to the portfolio.
All products in our selection have passed a thorough screening. We only bring to market products that are high-quality and genuinely beneficial to people. The manufacturers are always reliable – many of them we’ve worked with for decades, say Tarja Erholtz, Sari Merikko, Liisa Sarjanen, and Susanna Sundholm.
Since the team can’t be personally present in every pharmacy across Finland, part of their role is to ensure that Tamro’s pharmacy representatives and pharmacy staff are well-informed about the products and can help consumers find the right solutions for their needs.
Encounters in pharmacies are always the highlights of our workdays. When a customer finds a product that truly helps, it leaves you with a good feeling for a long time, says Liisa.
The job requires collaboration skills, precision, patience, and a sales-oriented mindset. Creativity is essential in campaign planning. Internationality adds its own flavor to the work, and all language skills come into active use.
It’s a responsible and versatile role. We get to see the entire journey of a product – from idea to pharmacy shelf, and at best, even improving the consumer’s quality of life.
